Kalavinka is an imaginary bird that appears in Buddhist scripts. It is a human-headed creature with a beautiful bird call. Convex rood-end tiles with a Kalavinka design were also excavated from the Hwangnyongsa Temple site, Bunhwangsa Temple, and Samnangsa Temple site as well as Wolji Pond.
