Copper alloy dodecahedron with spherical projections at each corner, circular holes of varying sizes pierce each face. No-one knows what these enigmatic items were used for in the Roman period, there are over 50 theories published in academic literature! Whatever they were, they were costly and difficult things to make, so must have been important.
