Copy of the statue of the Madonnina, detail

1:1 scale copy of Milan Duomo's Madonnina statue. Commissioned to mark the occasion of the 2015 Milan Expo, the sculpture was made using the lost-wax casting technique and faithfully depicts the original found on top of the Duomo's Main Spire. Made of gilded bronze - unlike the original in embossed gilded copper plates - the sculpture is currently exhibited at the Milan Duomo Museum.
