Coral Propagation

Our "coral propagation exhibit" (on the left in this photo) is where coral fragments are growing to be used in exhibits at Shedd Aquarium and sent out to other aquariums. We are currently exhibiting 4 species: Stylophora pistillata ( Pink cauliflower coral); Acropora yongei ( Slimer staghorn coral); Montipora digitata (Finger coral) and Turbinaria reniformis ( Scroll coral). The coral exhibit on the right in the photo has at least 18 different species!
