At dawn, groups of duck-billed dinosaurs (Corythosaurus, foreground) and horned dinosaurs (Chasmosaurus, background) leave the waters of a bayou, in Dinosaur Provincial Park, southern Alberta. A small carnivore (Troodon) pauses beneath a magnolia; ostrich dinosaurs approach water's edge to drink; a soft-shelled turtle (Aspideerets) suns itself. Late Cretaceous, about 75 million years ago.
