London, United Kingdom

A 1/3 segment cut from an 8 reales Spanish colonial silver coin. The coin has been stamped on the reverse with a St Lucia countermark, which allowed the coin to circulate in St Lucia. Very few details of the original coin can be seen, with the front nearly completely smoothed out and the back having only some letters visible.
