Ryan Mosley scaled the enormous courtyard wall at Stewart Ward to create a painting of brightly coloured birds surrounded by a vibrant harlequin pattern. The design arose from a game Mosley played with the young people of Exquisite Birds, which borrowed from the surrealist game of cadaver exquis, and allowed participants to collaboratively create their own imaginary creatures. In his mural, these birds are a symbol of calmness, migration, freedom and evolution.
