Cover illustration for My House

Claudia Legnazzi combined and pasted various materials to create this work. She used rice or flower-shaped pasta for the flowers, beans for the caterpillar, leaves for the trees, a real butterfly wing for the bird feather, and basting thread for the girl’s hair … and some parts of the illustration even have a raised surface. My House features a small house that travels around the world, conveying the message that, with a vivid imagination, you can go most anywhere.
