Born in 1982, FMR was launched with the slogan "the most beautiful magazine in the world". Luxurious but austere in its own way, it presented from three to five topics by number with the unmistakable style of Franco Maria Ricci's editorial products. An unexplored mine of wonders of all kinds make their appearance on the glossy pages, in a parade of flawless images. Until then, no art magazine had a photographic apparatus of this quality, the same of the texts. 162 issues of FMR have been published until 2003, with a circulation that art magazines never achieved before.
