From the Artist: Within the first and most unsettling months of lockdown last spring, I devised a way to stay connected to my friends, family, and peers in the art community by making, “Covid Coloring Pages.” The concept was simple: make a black and white drawing with cheeky, numbered coloring instructions, photocopy it, and snail mail copies to my people for their enjoyment. The resulting images from my friends and their families were amazing, heart warming and wonderfully varied. The first Covid Coloring Page was such a success that I made 4 iterations of the project over the ensuing months, the last being in October.

The process of writing peoples' names by hand on an envelope and sending them a hardcopy of something through the mail helped me form physical connections with people during the worst parts of 2020.
