Image from Peter Fischmann Photographs, Accession 27510. COW or C.O.W. (Country or Western) was a Brisbane Indie band of the early 1990s. Left to right: Robert Moore, David McCormack and Glenn Thompson. The drummer is unidentified. McCormack and Thompson were also members of the band Custard. Built in 1886 as the Kangaroo Point Hotel, the Story Bridge hotel was renamed in 1940 to coincide with the opening of the adjacent Story Bridge. The hotel is one of only seven three-story hotels still standing in Queensland from that period.
