Cowboy and Lasso

Oblong, curved sides and corners, featuring raised decoration of bust of cowboy in profile surrounded by long, intertwined lasso; he has mustache, hat with chin strap, long scarf knotted at front, lasso is looped five times beneath, one long, attenuated loop above, one strand of rope extends around to reverse side of matchsafe, incised monogram R.G.P. Jr. on reverse. Lid hinged on side. Striker in recessed groove on bottom.
