Dark and light shades of reddish brown, free-spirited shapes like maksabal (a bowl for everything), and a heavy sense of materiality. Ceramist Bae Joohyeon’s works are reminiscent of earthenware from primitive times. Sometimes different works form a cluster like large-scale installation art. It is as marvelous as a beautiful display of works discovered from a relic excavation site. Containers create an atmosphere. The large table with an impressive and clean-cut structure is by Park Taehong.
