Cranes, a collection of short stories by Hwang Sun Won

Cranes was originally a short story by Hwang Sun Won that was first published in the 52nd issue of the literary magazine, Shin Chun Ji (New World) in May 1953. In 1956, the Joongang Cultural Printing Company published a collection of short stories that included this one. Western-influenced artist Kim Whan Ki drew the cover illustration for the book.
