Crazy Day

Martyniak shows the world of nature in an abstract way in a continuous process of creation. She accepts the fact that risk and uncertainty are her inseparable friend, therefore she tries to make her image open to everything that may happen during the creation process, reflecting, "Often it is most productive to follow the brush freely."

Regarding her process, she notes that usually, she doesn't plan her work. One stroke leads to the next action. She continues her work until the end result is satisfactory. Some works quickly reach the point where they are considered complete. For others, the Martyniak needs more time to let the image mature, to find the appropriate form, and achieve the desired effect.
