The late Bansi Parimoo is one of Kashmir's talented Artists who was less acclaimed but whose creativity matches some of his eminent contemporaries at the National level. He worked in oils, acrylic and watercolours.

His geometrical forms assimilate elements of cubism. His work moved through stages of evolution from realistic watercolours to impressionism and then figurative abstracts, and finally pure abstracts. He uses a wide range of colour hues, including green, blue, red and ochre, in his compositions.
