Crowd – Situations. Picture One

Alluding to Hyperrealism, the artist painted the anonymous crowd of people seen in the streets of Polish cities. Świtka wanted his pictures to play the role of a sociological study of human types and behaviours; from today’s perspective they are also a chronicle of everyday life in the Polish People’s Republic.
