The wreath features seven roses of fine workmanship, arranged in descending order of size. Each flower is made up of a double ring of hexagonal petals, fastened in the centre by strips of thin gold leaf that mimic the stamens. The crown was worn with the aid of a ribbon behind the head, attached to the pierced ends of the support.
