This crucifix or pilgrim badge was made in the 1420s and shows the Rood of Grace which was kept at Boxley Abbey in Kent. The screen included a large wooden figure of Christ. It was claimed that its eyes moved and even shed tears. Thousands of pilgrims flocked to see it. This souvenir was found at Pilgrim's Crossing, Palmer Lane in Coventry.
