Cruz Magalhães in the Ceramics Room

Photograph of the Ceramics Room at the Bordalo Pinheiro Museum, where we can see Artur Ernesto de Santa Cruz Magalhães, founder of the museum, next to the Manueline Vase. This photograph is thought to have been taken during the period following the reopening of the museum after its donation to Lisbon City Council (1924), as prior to this there was no visitable exhibition space on the ground floor of the building.
