Cuff of gold-thread embroidered silk, with a representation of the angel of the Annunciation among tendrils and fleurs-de-lis. The cuffs constitute part of the sacerdotal vestment adopted from the Byzantine lay garment. They symbolise the handcuffs placed on the wrists of Jesus when he was brought before Caiaphas. 16th c. 0,19x0,27 m. (ΓΕ 9323)
