The painting is attributed to an unknown author of the school or circle of Konstantin Danil, which refers to the connections and influence of his way of painting, i.e. work and study in the studio of the famous painter visited by younger novices or insufficiently artistically educated artists (in which they worked, helped, served..). Maybe this is a study for a more developed and compositionally complex realization or just a very successful detail or a copy of a certain part of another author's work, but it stands out with its own power of distinctness of the composition and seductiveness of the scene and represents a rare example of Serbian Biedermeier painting.
