"The piece is about truth being delivered as truth. Our history has been 'edited' in many forms, from our elementary days to the time of our death. And, personally, my art has been so edited by other people, it wasn’t until Bill Arnett came into my life and started writing down my words and letting my own words speak for me that people started to understand what my art was about and what I was trying to say. If we don’t let people tell their stories, their stories will never be told properly. Or history will not be the truth."
