Large Cycladic figurine of the canonical type (Spedos variety), attributed to the so-called "Naxos Museum Master". Diagnostic traits of his works are the long face with wide cheeks, the curved sloping shoulders, the narrow body, the rudimentary distinction of the arms from the body, the faint rendering of the breasts. etc. In this example, the pubic area is rendered in low relief, shallow grooves are used to distinguish the different parts of the legs and the spinal column is indicated by a shallow groove down the back. The works produced by the "Naxos Musem Master" are typologically dated to the later stage of the Spedos variety.
