Czech Radio Zlin. The Baťa brothers dispute

The villa was built in 1926–1927 by the younger of the Baťa brothers, Jan Antonín. The elder Tomáš would not have agreed with the construction, so it was allegedly done in a hurry during his trip to America. Even the company architect František Lydie Gahura preferred not to sign off on the project.
