Dabna (Food cloche)

These two dabna were recorded in the courtyard of a residence. They were used to cover prepared food items like roti and khichdi (a dish made of rice, lentils and vegetables). The gaps between each bent metal strip allows air movement inside the cloche, keeping the food fresh.
