Decorative tiles are particularly made for decorating the edge of the protruding corners of roofs. They are usually God figures or Animal Gods figures. For the dignity and majesty of the design, they also have the supernatural reason to be set which is protecting the building from evil spirits. There was a department specially for the creating of decorative tiles and the limited members were totally four. This is a Daedangsabu figure and it was specially designed for Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul.
