The samjak norigae can be further classfied as daesamjak, jungsamjak, and sosamjak by size. Daesamjak are often sumptuous and large. Appropriately these were worn in the imperial court with ceremonial robes, wonsam or hwarot, hanging from the daedae, or sash. This particular artifact is adorned with a pair of jade set in coral and amber. Tassels shaped like the tentacles of an octopus in red, blue, and yellow are attached.
