Franck was actually the pseudonym of the French François-Alexandre-Louis-Marie de Gobinet Villecholles, portrait Parisian aristocrat who came to Barcelona fleeing 1848 revolution became more prominent photographer from Barcelona during the early years of photography. His studio was located on the Boulevard center, number 18.
