    MILLGIRLS PREPARED. WS/X Millgirls throughout Lancashire are fully prepared for any air raids and air raid tests form part of the weekly programme at an Oldham Mill. Mill operatives, wearing gas-masks as they work their looms, present one of the most unusual sights in the whole field of A.R.P. Tests are also carried out frequently to see how quickly the mill can be evacuated. Photo shows - Millgirls, complete with gas-masks, at work on the looms at an Oldham mill. FOX.
