AW/HT
The season's campaign at the Fenland beet sugar factories, which are under the control of the British Sugar Corporation, began a few days ago. A good start has been made with the lifting of the beat in Lincolnshire and loading has already started at Spalding and beet are already arriving at the huge factory in Paterborough.
