Apron made on the loom with colorful borders decorated with geometric motifs and a woollen braid to tie the waist.
The apron belonged to the donor's sister, Dalia Semo Israelovitsh (1911-1971) who arrived in Brazil in 1954, having previously left Bulgaria for Israel in 1935. Oro (Laura) Semo Rosen, the donor, arrived in Brazil in 1958 and in São Paulo, she was a Hebrew teacher at Colégio IL Peretz. The Rosen family lived in the city Russe, which is next to the river Danube and at the time had 3,000 Jews. Jewish life was intense with choir, theater, sports and the Macabi sports club.
