historical photography - Arklová Tereza (1861? -1933?) Was a Polish-born singer, whose real name was Teresa Arklowa, born "from Blumenfeldów". She studied singing with leading educators in Milan, Vienna and Paris. She became for one year (1886-1887) by the soloist of the Opera Theatre. Other activities in parts were rejected by her because her financial conditions were not accepted by the National Theatre. Yet here in one year she managed to sing sixteen roles. Smetana´s Milada was one of them.
