The station facade wall are given a blue base coating to prepare for the artwork. It is said that Aryabhata belonged to Khagaul - the old name of Danapur. Aryabhatta's first lab was said to be situated next to the station. And so started the process to converting the banal facade of the station to a tribute to one of the greatest sons of Bihar.
