Matilde Corrales González" "Matilde Coral" was born on June 22, 1935, in the Plaza de Chapina in the "zurraque" of Triana, land of potters. Student of Adelita Domingo, Pastora Imperio and Eloisa Albéniz (mother). She took her first steps as a dancer in the "Cortijo El Guajiro" in Seville. First dancer in the Tablao El Duende in Madrid, owned by Pastora Imperio and Gitanillo de Triana. Partner of Alejandro Vega, Alberto Lorca and José Greco, traveling with the companies around the world. She has a degree in Spanish Dance from the School of Dramatic Art and Dance of Córdoba, in 1979. She was awarded the UNICEF Andalusia Prize by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain and is the holder of three National Prizes: Juana "La Macarrona", Pilar López and Encarnación López "La Argentinita" in addition to holding the only National Key English:Isabel Bayón received the Gold Medal for Flamenco Dance, awarded in 1972. On February 28, 2001, she was awarded the Gold Medal of Andalusia in recognition of her work as curator of the Seville School of Andalusian Dance.

Isabel Bayón began dancing at the age of five at the Matilde Coral School, and obtained the title of Spanish Dance at the Conservatories of Córdoba and Seville at the age of 16. In the mid-seventies she made her debut in a tribute to Antonio el Bailarín. During the 80s she participated as a solo dancer in the first Seville Flamenco Biennial. She also participated in tours with the show Flamenco Vivo with artists such as Manolo Marín and Milagros Mengíbar. In the 90s she joined the Andalusian Dance Company as a solo dancer under the direction of Mario Maya, touring Spain and various European countries. She collaborated as a guest artist with various artists such as Miguel Poveda, Israel Galván, Joaquín Grilo, Javier Barón, José Luis Ortiz Nuevo, Fernando Romero, among others. In the late 90s she participated as a guest artist and choreographer with the Andalusian Dance Company directed by José Antonio Ruiz, and also choreographed for the National Ballet of Spain directed by Aída Gómez.
