Possagno, Italy

It is a model of the marbles found in St. Petersburg and Ottawa.
The dancing girl with her hands on her hips has her hair pulled up and fixed with a small crown of flowers. The rhythm and gaiety are all in the body which can be glimpsed under the light clothes, held with elegance on the hips to support and simultaneously highlight her movements. Such movement appears to stem from the feet which are lifted with grace and vigour, as if she were about to be lifted off the ground to attain her dreams.
