Possagno, Italy

It is the model of the marble at the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. Another similar marble is in England.
The expression is of sweetness, affection, agility and harmony. The three goddesses embrace each other creating a pleasant enlace in a blissful modulation of bodies with their heads turned lovingly to each other. The delicacy of their flesh and sweetness of their agile bodies make this one of Canova’s most famous works.
