Dancing Light series
The Dancing Light series of Hsiao Chin's paintings in the "Punto Period" are the most representative. There are only 19 paintings in total, which is his most rare series at that time. This series of works adopts the ratio of "eight on top and two on the bottom", so that viewers can easily have the visual feeling of looking up at the stars. This "sky is high and wide" composition became the basic tone of Hsiao Chin’s Permanent Garden series which is popular in Asia in the 1980s and 1990s.
This series combines his experience and outlook on life, spurting out his most surging artistic creativity and thriving passion of life.
