The term Danghye (Tang style shoes) was derivated from the arabesque pattern in the applique on its toe and heel, the Dangchomoon(Tang’s plant pattern). It was worn by the noble women or at the court during the last stage of Joseon Dynasty. This Danghye is overlaid with burgundy satin damask trimmed and lined with off-white deerskin. The deerskin lining is done on the counter and insole as well.
