Darjeeling Himalayan Railway worker

A coal breaker sits atop the engine and breaks large chunks of coal into a size fit for the furnace. Meanwhile, the loco halts for passengers to enjoy the view of Darjeeling from Batasia loop. The loop was engineered to give traction to the train and was not thought of as a view point by the builders of Darjeeling Himalayan Railway.
