Ustad Usman Khan sahab doing Dastaar Bandi of Ustad Iqbal Ahmed Khan after the demise of then Khalifa Ustad Chand Khan in the presence of Ustad Naseer Ahmed Khan, Ustad Hilal Ahmed Khan and other members of Dilli Gharana on February 1, 1981. Dastaar Bandi is a traditional ceremony for the annointment of the Doyen/Khalifa of the Gharana.
