De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill On Sea, East Sussex

This night-time shot shows the illuminated staircase on the seaward side of the De La Warr Pavilion. This seaside leisure, entertainment and education complex was built in 1936 to designs by Erich Mendelsohn and Serge Chermayeff. After a period of neglect, it reopened in 2005 following extensive restoration.
