The Deakin Anticline exposure (located in the Canberra suburb of Deakin) is a result of the extraction of
brick clay for the former Yarralumla Brickworks. It is an important component of the sedimentary rocks that comprise the Yarralumla Formation in the ACT. It is a clear illustration of a simple Anticlinal
formation and a highly visible feature of the last marine incursion into the A.C.T. region.
