Some of the finest glassware at Clayton includes a service produced by M. Q. Testolini of Venice. These drinking vessels, along with a matching dessert service, were purchased by the Fricks during their 1893 vacation to Italy. The Renaissance-style decoration borrows elements from 16th-century Venetian glass. Mrs. Frick’s monogram, “AHCF,” can be seen just below the rims of the glasses.
