Marble pilaster capital, slightly trapezoidal shape, decorated with small palms and other palm-shaped motifs, from the Roman villa of Els Munts (Altafulla) near Tarraco. It was part of the architectural decoration of the upper gallery interior wall in one of the wings of the ambulacrum around which the middle or residential zone of the villa was arranged.
