Georges Goursat was a famous caricaturist active during the Belle Epoque. He who made his name by publishing caricatures of various Parisian socialites publishing many albums both before and after the first world war. Although too old to be conscripted into service, during the Great War Goursat worked as a war correspondent for Le Journal.
