The Snow Cap Drive-In was built in 1953 from scrap lumber by Juan Delgadillo. Signs for “cheeseburger with cheese,” “dead chicken,” and “Sorry, We’re Open” grace the exterior. Today, Delgadillo’s children continue their father’s legacy of serving pranks and burgers.

This image is of Juan Delgadillo with his 1936 Chevrolet in front of the restaurant. (Picture taken in July 1990).
