Dela’ilü’l-Hayrat ve Şevariku’l-Envar fi Zikri’s-Salat ale’n-Nebiyyi’l-Muhtar (Proofs
of Good Deeds and Holy Lights on Praying
to the Chosen Prophet) is a prayer anthology compiled by the sheikh of the Şazeli order, el-Cezuli (d. 1465), consisting mainly of widely read prayers. On fol. 17r, the structure containing the tombs of the Prophet Muhammad and the caliphs Ebubekir and Ömer is shown in cross-section. On the summit of its dome of the tomb is a flame-like motif representing Muhammads radiance. On fol. 16v the Ka‘ba is depicted along with the surrounding buildings and topography of Mecca.Reference: Tanındı, Z., Harmony of Line and Colour, Illuminated Manuscripts Documents and Calligraphy in the Sadberk Hanım Museum Collection, Sadberk Hanım Museum Publication, İstanbul 2019, pp. 232 - 237.
