On 23 October 1956, the first day of the Hungarian Revolution, thousands of protesters gathered near Heroes' Square in Budapest, and toppled the 25-meter-tall Stalin Monument, erected as a "gift" to Stalin from the Hungarian people, on his seventieth birthday (21 December 1949).

This item was used in OSA's 2008 reconstruction, “The Trial.”
