A lavish bed comprised of a large, high canopy enlivened by carved putti and ostrich feather plumes, a flying tester below, and a massive headboard carved with an urn flanked by male and female figures. Footboard carved as drapery, a shell motif at center, and putti at corners. Hanging mirrors and chairs on either side of bed and sunlight coming through window partially pictured at far right.Inscribed on plate lower edge: "Marot fecit avec Pre...[illeg.] des Etáts Generaux. En hollonde et W. [illeg.]"
